Day 01 : Paris Arrival

Day 1 : Arrive Geneva - Chamonix
Arrive Geneva. On arrival at Geneva airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Chamonix. Evening is free to enjoy your time at the Casino on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Chamonix
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a mountain excursion to Aiguille du Midi, a rocky peak close to Mont Blanc with snow year-round, you`ll reach the summit in just 20 minutes by a two-stage cable car. The panoramic views of the Chamonix Valley and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps are spectacular! In the direction of the Swiss Alps, on a clear day it`s also possible to see the Mattherhorn, Toblerone chocolate`s famous trademark mountain. There are many terraces and balconies up at the Aiguille du Midi where you can enjoy views of the magnificent mountain ranges and watch skiers zooming down towards the glacier. There`s also a cafe at the summit where you can have a hot chocolate and perhaps enjoy a light snack (at your own expense). Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 3 : Chamonix
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to explore the town of Chamonix on your own or we recommend you take the comfortable electric railway to Montenvers, a vantage point with fine views of the Mer de Glace. This magnificent glacier is four miles (seven kilometers) long and averages just under a mile wide. You`ll be riding the charming little red train that has been transferring passengers to the Montenvers site and the world-famous Mer de Glace glacier since 1908. Surrounded by the impressive summits of Les Drus, Les Grandes Jorasses and Les Grands Charmoz, the Montenvers site is the perfect place to learn about the largest French glacier and about nature in the Alps. Day 4 : Chamonix - Geneva - Paris
This morning after breakfast, proceed on your own to Geneva airport for your flight to Paris. Arrive into Paris, the vibrant city famous for its museums and monuments. Transfer on own to your hotel. The site of an impressive Roman amphitheatre, this ancient city has been inhabited for 400,000 years and today it still retains the medieval `vieille ville` (old town) feel, with narrow, windy streets, bordered by terraced red-tile roof buildings which today house boutiques, restaurants and food shops. Upon arrival into Nice, transfer to your hotel on your own. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 : Nice
After breakfast at the hotel, discover the history and culture of Nice with a half day city tour. The tour begins with a visit to Castle Hill where the Greeks first arrived where you can admire a breathtaking view of the old town and the port. Then onto Cimiez where you have the possibility to visit either the Chagall or Matisse Museum (entrances not included), as well as the Franciscan monastery, Queen Victoria`s Winter Palace and the roman ruins located within a beautiful Mediterranean garden. The Russian Church is the next stop and is indeed very surprising, as this is the biggest Russian Church built outside Russia under the last Tsar Nicolas II. After passing by `La Promenade des Anglais`, the tour will end in the beautiful old town of Nice with its restaurants, cafes and the famous flower market. Rest of the day is free, though we suggest an optional tour of Monaco and Monte Carlo by night. Upon leaving Nice, drive up to Mont Alban, with its splendid views over Nice and Villefranche. Then on to Eze, a typical French medieval village, famous for perfume making. From there, travel to the Principality of Monaco to see Old Monaco, the Cathedral, changing of the guards at noon and the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit. Continue your tour by a visit to St Paul de Vence, the jewel of Provence. Drive to Antibes, to see the old town, and marvel at the enormous yachts moored at `Billionaires` Quay`. Your final visit of the day is to Cannes, where you visit the `Croisette` to see the prints of some of the famous actors who have come to Cannes for the film festival. You will arrive back in Nice at around 1730 hrs. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 : Depart Nice
After breakfast transfer on your own to the station / airport for your train / flight back home or onward destination.

Day 1 :
Travel on the Normandy motorway and make your first stop at Rouen for a walking tour in the old town before continuing to Honfleur. On the way between Rouen and Honfleur, you will get a view of the newly built Normandy bridge. In Honfleur : free time for lunch. Continue to the beaches of Normandy and pass the American Landing Beaches of Omaha, then visit to the American Cemetery of Saint-Laurent and Arromanches (Stop).

Day 2
Leave Caen at 7:30am in the direction of Brittany. Guided visit of St Malo (ramparts, the cathedral etc). After lunch (free time) depart for Mont-Saint-Michel (frontier between the Bretagne and Normandie regions) for a guided visit of the Abbey followed by free time.

Day 3
Depart Angers at 8:00am (short stop at Chateau d'Angers for taking photos) and pass by Cunault and Saumur. Guided visit to the castle of Langeais before lunch (free time) at Amboise. In the afternoon, visit the Clos-Luce, last dwelling of Leonardo da Vinci. Then visit of the Gardens of Villandry castle. Visit to the historic districts of TOURS.

Day 4
For your final day in the Loire Valley, your itinerary includes guided visits of Chenonceau, Cheverny and Chambord chateaux with a farewell lunch at the Hotel Saint-Hubert at Cheverny. Return to Paris around 7:00pm.

It is nicknamed the "Château des Dames" (Castle of Ladies) as nearly all its owners were women, and some of the most beautiful women of France. Return to TOURS, panoramic tour of the town, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: SAUMUR - ANGERS
Breakfast. Departure to SAUMUR, nicknamed the "Pearl of Anjou", for a visit of a cellar with wine tasting. Then you will have a panoramic tour of the city center: the banks of the Loire, the castle... Free time. In the afternoon, guided visit of the National Riding School whose teachers are none other than the famous "écuyers" of the Cadre Noir of Saumur. Only school of its kind in France with more than 400 horses, one of the largest stables in Europe... Transfer to your hotel in ANGERS, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: NANTES - RENNES
Breakfast. Departure to NANTES for a panoramic tour of the major architectural accomplishments and monuments of the town: Saint Peter Cathedral, the "Château des Ducs de Bretagne", Hôtel de Ville, Graslin Theatre, Palais de la Bourse... Free time. Continuation to RENNES, capital of Brittany, for a visit of the town: the Cathedral, Mordelaises gates, Place des Lices square, rue de La Psalette and rue du Chapitre, Saint Yves Chapel, the squares in front of the Hôtel de Ville and the Parliament building. DAY 1 Arrive in Paris, France
The day is free to rest or to start exploring the splendid French capital. At 6 pm, meet your Tour Director and traveling companions and leave the hotel for a welcome dinner with wine at one of Paris' lively restaurants. After dinner you may wish to join an optional outing to get a first impression of the "City of Light."

DAY 2 Paris
Sightseeing with a Local Guide features the Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Madeleine, Louvre, and Champs-Elysées. Visit magnificent NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL, and for a panoramic view, take the elevator to the second floor of the EIFFEL TOWER. Balance of the day at leisure and lots to do. An optional excursion to the Louvre Museum as well as exciting evening outings are available.

DAY 3 Paris-Beaune-Dijons
A pleasant morning drive takes you to Beaune, a picturesque town located in the Burgundy hills. Here, enjoy a WINE TASTING before heading for Dijon, which was the capital of Burgundy from the 11th to the 15th centuries. During your orientation, hear about the various dukes who ruled over the area, then have the rest of the afternoon to browse the shops and enjoy this charming city. This evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 4 Dijon-Avignon-Pont du Gard-NÎmes
On your way south, stop in Avignon for pictures of the magnificent Palace of the Popes and the bridge of the popular song. At Pont du Gard, admire the Roman Aqueduct, a monumental feat of engineering completed in the year 19 BC. Next is Nîmes, where you will stay for the next two days.

DAY 5 At Leisure in NÎmes
Follow your Tour Director on a walking tour of the town. An entire day at leisure to relax or to explore further at your own pace. Exciting optional excursions are available.

DAY 6 NÎmes-Aix-en-Provences
Arrive in Aix-en-Provence, one of France's most elegant cities. Explore its center during your walking tour, stroll along shaded Cours Mirabeau, admire its famous cafés and fountains, and discover colorful squares.

DAY 7 Aix-en-Provence-Grasse-Nice.
Drive to Grasse and visit a PERFUME FACTORY. Then, arrive in Nice, "Queen of the Riviera." Enjoy free time to explore the Old Town or the famous beach. Later, why not join an optional outing to Monte Carlo
